  • Mah Jong

    Mondays at 12:30pm
    Fridays at 9:30am

    Do you need to challenge your mind or are you looking for something to do in the afternoon? Play the fascinating Chinese tile game of Mah Jong. This tile based game will have you addicted in to time! Don't know how to play? We will teach you!

    Mah Jong is held on the Porch.

  • Billiards/Pool

    Ladies Billiards: Mondays at 1pm
    Pool Players: Fridays at 8am

    The pool room is also open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Stop in and get some practice.

    The Pool Room is located on the Lower Level.

  • Scrabble

    Mondays at 12:30pm

    In this classic word game, players use their seven drawn letter-tiles to form words on the gameboard. Each word laid out earns points based on the commonality of the letters used, with certain board spaces giving bonuses.

    Scrabble is held in the Dining Room.

  • Corn Hole

    Tuesdays at 9:30am

    This lawn games has several names including "bags", "sack toss" or "bean bag toss." This game in which players take turns throwing underhand a 16 oz. fabric bean bag at a raised platform with a hole in the center for points. This coed game will be fun and easy to learn. Give it a try!

    During the warm months Corn Hole is held outside on the Gathering Greens. During the winter months is is held on the Porch.

  • Bridge

    Tuesdays at 12:30pm

    Bridge is recognized as a mind sport, and is partnership trick-taking card game of skill. It is played by four players who form two partnerships; the partners sit opposite each other at a table. There is an auction (often called bidding) and then the play, after which the hand is scored.

    Bridge is held in the Library.

  • Sheepshead

    Tuesdays at 1pm

    Sheepshead is played with 32 cards, each with a different point value and strength. The object of the game is to get at least 61 points by taking a number of tricks. The most common and way to play Sheepshead is with 5 players. Six players may sit at the table and the dealer just sits out the hand he is dealing.

    Sheepshead is held in the Dining Room.

  • Euchre

    Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1pm

    A card game for two to four players, usually played with the thirty-two highest cards, the aim being to win at least three of the five tricks played.

    Euchre is held in the Lower Level.

  • Phase 10

    Wednesdays at 12:30pm

    A rummy-type card game where players compete to be the first to finish completing all ten phases. Phases include collecting runs of numbers, collecting certain number of a given color cards, etc. The first player to finish completing the 10th phase wins.

  • Bingo

    2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 1:15pm

    Who doesn't enjoy the thrill of yelling "BINGO!!!?" Come join us in the dining room for bingo. It's a great time to catch up with some friends you haven't seen in a while. A small snack and beverage will be provided. Cost is .50/card with a maximum of four cards.

    Bingo is held in the Dining Room.

  • Cribbage

    Thursdays at 10am

    Cribbage, or crib, is a card game traditionally for two players that involves playing and grouping cards in combinations which gain points. It can be adapted for three or four players. Check out how to play this traditional card game.

  • Canasta

    Fridays at 12:30pm

    A card game resembling rummy, using two packs. It is usually played by two pairs of partners, and the aim is to collect sets (or melds) of cards.

  • Movies

    There is no charge but a donation is appreciated for popcorn and beverages.

  • Books, DVDs and Movies

    Mon-Fri 8-4pm open library

    Our library will be open from 8:00 until 4:00 Monday through Friday. Visit our selection to check out at no charge. We also have audio books and large print books too. Everyone is welcome!

    We Will Take Your Used Books!

    If your library at home is getting filled to the brim, then please think about donating books to the TGP library. We will accept hard cover or paperback books in good condition that are three years or newer.
