The Gathering Place is a nonprofit community activity center in Milton, WI. People of all ages participate in activities, classes and programs, and receive services that enhance their dignity, support their independence and encourage their involvement with each other and the community.
John’s Door County Fish Boil, June 5 starting at 5:30 p.m.
Get into the summer swing with one of Wisconsin’s favorite meals, an old-fashioned fish boil. Our very own John Bauer will be the “boil master” and will be cooking over an open flame using his 55-gallon kettle. This is the first of what’s sure to be a popular annual event. Tickets are going quickly, so call 868-3500 or stop by soon. They are $22.95 for adults and $17.95 for children under 12. Come with your appetite and your favorite lawn chair!
Milton House Tour and Lunch: April 23
Join us for a tour of this hexagonal stagecoach inn, built in 1844 and now the oldest of its type in the country, that once served as a stop on the Underground Railroad. We leave TGP at 9:45 am and will be lunching at Klig’s in Milton. Sign up at the reception desk. The cost is $4.
